for Alison's Journey
"Alison's a woman that married what she thought, or had hoped wouldbe the man of her dreams. Rich, handsome, and intelligent, but becamean abusive monster in every sense of the word.
In desperation she decides to leave without a trace. Ending up in a smalltown in Ohio, she is a far cry from the blitz and richness she had known in Los Angeles. Many other character's come into focus at this point.
She meets a middle classed mechanic who happens to be a widower raising his young daughter. At first it seems they have nothing in common, but then you realize both are just lonley for true love and companionship.
Her abusive husband will stalk, and haunt her. But this time will be different....She has learned what free will is all about, and does not want to give it up. This story is a must read for anyone that is, or has been in an abusive relationship.
Ms. Tippett writes this story with extreme knowledge, and with the respect for all who have endured mental, and physical abuse at some time in their life. I would recommend this book to all."
